Two UT alumni, now both at Stanford, developed this resource to help others identify and define technical problems that are revealed or introduced during the digital conversion of analog audiovisual materials. It’s a wiki; add to it if you’re willing and able to do so.
Madeline is a UT alumna, a native Texan, and was a staff member at Texas Archive of the Moving Image. The project she undertook with her grandparents’ correspondence and audiovisual materials is cool, comprehensive, moving, and impressive.
